Hair is something everyone has to some extent, some more than others. It’s something we don’t really think about in mathematical or scientific terms on a regular basis. It’s just there. And if you have long hair, when you pull it into a ponytail or a braid, you don’t think about the incredibly complex science and math behind why hair behaves as it does, but it’s a question that’s been unanswered for hundreds of years.
i still feel like all of this effort could have been used on… oh, i don’t know… exploring the ocean which we actually know so little about?
